| Since the establishment of Korean-French Joint- |

|
Pumyang and Soletanche Bachy originated from the 1983 Korean-French joint-venture company Soletanche Pumyang. After 24 years, this cooperative relationship ended when the joint venture stocks were transferred from Soletanche Bachy to Pumyang. At the same time, the old name of the company was changed to Pumyang E&C.
Through the years, Pumyang E&C has devoted its efforts to introducing new construction technologies and methods in the market, and it has greatly contributed to the development of Korea’s construction industry.
Pumyang E&C has accumulated various techniques through its successful soil improvement works (e.g., the use of a stone column in Yeosu GS CALTEX Refinery Plant), architectural construction works (e.g., diaphragm wall construction in the Seoul and Busan subways, Jamsil Lotte World, Dongdaemun Doosan Tower, the office building of National Tax Service, the MBC broadcasting center in Ilsan, and Good Morning City), and civil construction works (e.g., Cutoff Wall in Nanji-do, foundation works in Asan COREX, tunnel work for the multiwater supply line in the metropolitan area, and the construction of the structural part of Maehyun Bridge at the Jungbu internal highway).
Based on its accumulated know-how and experiences, Pumyang E&C constantly explores new civil engineering technologies and provides services that exceed its customers’ expectations. We at Pumyang E&C will do our best to become “The Best Solution and Partner,” from design to construction.
